St. Vincent DePaul Society

St Vincent DePaul Socity is a ministry in the Byron, Stillman Valley, Davis Junction, Leaf River, and rural areas of Ogle County, and is sponsored by St. Mary Parish in Byron.

It's mission is to strive to serve the Lord through assisting and helping those in need.  The St. Vincent DePaul Society's goal is to gather and use available resources in our efforts to provide assistance, on a temporary basis, to those in need.  It is a Catholic Lay Organization trying to follow the rule of St. Vincent DePaul who is also known as the "Apostle of Charity".

The Society serves those in need regardless of creed, ethnic or social background, health, gender, or political opnions.  While relataively new to the local area, the Society has been in existence for almost 200 years.

If you know of a fellow community member in need, or if you are a neighbor in need, please contact us at 1-815-406-8368.   All calls are confidental and answered on a daily basis.

All Saints supports the Byron St. Vincent DePaul Society, and refers people in need to this ministry.
