Companion Congregation

On May 1, 2011, All Saints Lutheran Church of Byron, IL entered into a Companion Congregation Covenant with The Arcot Lutheran Church, Siloam Pastorate in Tamil Nadu, India.

The Vision of this Companion Congregation relationship is created for strengthening each other in the ministry and faith, serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We encourage each other's congregation through prayer, Bible studies, communication and exchange of people and resources.  This widens our vision of the global nature of the body of Christ.

Companion Congregation Committee
Companion Congregation Committee met with Esther Prabhakar on May 19, 2011 to become familiar with the Companion Congregation concept.  In attendance were Kay Johnson, Outreach Chairman, Audrey Adams, Youth Group Leader, Jack Anderson, Dan Anderson, Education Chairman, Jodi Miles, VBS Coordinator, Betty Klink, and Stacy Rapach.  Not pictured is Pastor Scott Schmidt.

Esther presented us with a beautiful traditional Indian Sari and several photos of the Siloam Pastorate area.
