The Altar Guild is responsible for setting the altar for Sunday services. They make sure the correct color paraments are on the altar and pulpit, place the appropriate banners in the church, fill the candles with oil, and set the communion table. This is not difficult work, but it is a very important ministry to the church.
Please take a moment to consider donating altar flowers that beautify the church throughout the year. The flower reservation binder is on the wall by the Altar Guild bulletin board in the fellowship hall. Bouquets are ordered from Merlin’s, at a cost of $22.00 each, and are delivered every other week. There are envelopes in the rack to use for your flower payment. This will help the Altar Guild Treasurer keep track of donations.
If you have questions about this system, please contact Kay Johnson.
Elected officers for 2023 are Kay Johnson, President, Lynn Knodle, Vice-President and Sunshine Chairman, Jan Sloan, Secretary, and Jo Marie Branson, Treasurer.
